Putao

Putao is a city of Kachin State, Myanmar and is the site of the World War II British Fort Hertz. It can only be reached by air.But it can also be reached by car especially in summer. The area around Putao is famous for the variety of rare orchids, which grow naturally. Famous orchid called "Black Orchid" can be explored around Putao mountainous region. All-weather snow-capped mountain can be seen from Putao. Because of mountainous-friendly area, tourists and mountaineers are visiting Putao.
